I’ve given mine to myself for more than a year now. it’s not that hard. you could ice it, like lino said, but honestly, it doesn’t really hurt? don’t hesitate, just stab it in. look away if you have to, but if you do it quick, you won’t even notice.
I don’t have qualms about it hurting. I’m pretty used to pain and I barely feel it when other people give it to me.
What I worry about is panicking just as I break the skin and involuntarily jerk or do something bad in my panic and hurt myself in an overly dramatic grand fashion! 8D;;
